About us
VivoProtect develops bacterial solutions for professional growers seeking to produce vegetables with consistently high quality, efficient resource use and less waste.
Our first product, VivoBio, consists of carefully selected beneficial bacteria for greenhouse, hydroponic and other controlled-environment indoor production. It can be integrated into existing growing routines and applied through irrigation water, during germination or as a foliar spray.
VivoBio is designed to support a favourable growing environment in controlled indoor and greenhouse systems. It contributes to improved growth, nutrient uptake and crop quality, as well as longer shelf life after harvest. By using nature’s own microorganisms, we aim to help growers reduce losses and build more resilient production systems.
VivoProtect is a spin-off from Lund University in Sweden. We combine research in microbiology and food science with a practical understanding of professional horticulture. Our focus is on herbs, leafy greens and other vegetables grown in greenhouses, vertical farms and hydroponic systems.
