      ” Predict the future of food production by designing it now! ” We design living systems that restore ecosystems and redefine how we grow food What is Aqualibrium Solutions®? At Aqualibrium Solutions®, we rethink how food is grown. Guided by permaculture principles and powered by appropriate technology, we design living systems where biology, engineering, and ecology work together. By integrating macro- and microbiology into climate-smart, circular designs, we create food production systems that are not only efficient but most importantly regenerative. Our work is about more than improving food production; it’s about designing ecosystems that sustain themselves, restore their surroundings, and produce food in harmony with nature. We believe the future isn’t something to wait for, it’s something we actively shape through the systems we design today. We collaborate with individuals, businesses, and organizations through consultations and partnerships, offered both digitally and in person, at your site, our office in Kalmar Science Park, or our pilot facility in Vissefjärda in Kalmar Sweden. How we work Our approach blends permaculture design thinking with regenerative and recirculating systems. We observe natural patterns, design for diversity and resilience, and use technology only where it adds real value. This includes: - Aquaponics systems that connect fish and plant production in balanced cycles - Permaculture-based system design for long-term sustainability and resilience - Cultivation of tropical crops in controlled environments - Small-scale fish production adapted to local conditions - Integration of circular, zero-waste principles across all systems The result is carbon-sequestering, resource-efficient food systems that can thrive at a human scale. Our pilot facility in Vissefjärda At our pilot site in Kalmar, Sweden, our ideas take physical form. The facility is designed as a living system- where water, nutrients, plants, animals, and microorganisms flow together in balance. Beneath the surface, biofilters quietly clean and transform water, while carefully designed circulation systems keep everything moving, oxygenated, and alive. Small, thoughtful technological additions act as system boosters, helping the whole ecosystem run smoothly while using as little energy as possible and keeping emissions low. Nothing stands alone. What would be waste in one part becomes a resource in another—creating a closed-loop system where each element supports the next. This is not just a production site, it’s a working example of how future food systems can look, feel, and function. Knowledge sharing & experiences We believe knowledge should be shared. That’s why we offer lectures, workshops, and on-site experiences that make sustainable food systems accessible and practical.
