Saba Nazarian is a Canadian regenerative farmer, educator and a sustainable food advocate. For the last 8 years, he has actively developed human-scale regenerative farms in the Nordic region. Through his intensive Young Farmer Training program at The Culinary Farm, he works with the next generation of growers, combining practical farming skills with the business, organisational and entrepreneurial knowledge needed to build viable careers in agriculture.
His work focuses on making human-scale agriculture a realistic and attractive pathway for younger people entering the sector, and on developing the skills, confidence and practical experience they will need to take responsibility for the future of food production.
At Nordic Agro Summit, Saba will speak about generational transition in farming and what it will take to lower the average age of farmers across the Nordics — not only by encouraging more young people into agriculture, but by creating clearer pathways for them to learn, enter the profession and build viable farms of their own.
